I purchased my car in May 2002 after slumming it with a Mitsubishi Scorpion Turbo (Starion Motor) and a mildly modified (but abused) Liberty RS. I decided enough was enough, I wanted a new(ish) car that was not going to be loud or too much ‘cop bait’.

At least I succeeded in the ‘not to loud’ part…. For the time being

Engine Modifications
Standard 2JZ-GTE engine.
K&N replacement air filter.

Transmission  & Differential Modifications
Getrag V160 6 Speed with factory clutch.
Oil replaced with Toyota V160 Gearbox fluid at 100,000kms -  $150/litre!!!!!!

Suspension, Brake & Wheels

18x8 Viper S2’s wearing 235/40 Bridgestone S02 rubber at the front and (stupidly oversized for the rim) 275/35 Pirelli Pzero Assimetrico rear. *update* OEM 17" rims have been sourced & purchased and are awaiting delivery to Australia from Japan.
Bilstein OEM dampers with OEM springs.
Standard 4 Piston front calipers on 323x30mm rotors and 2 piston rear calipers on 324x16mm rotors.

Plan to replace with 18x8 front and 18x9 or 9.5 rear (to match stock width) however Viper do not make anything larger than 18x8 so I’m looking for 4 new rims

Interior Modifications

Apexi AVC-R generation 1 boost controller – yet to be used in anger
Fake carbon dash overlay
Black Leather OEM Front Seats

Exterior Modifications

Quarter mile, Track times & Dyno figures.

Dyno'd on an MTX Dyno in 4th gear due to 5th (1:1) over spinning the dyno - 241hp, 460ft/lbs. Configuration is stock - no modifications have been performed.

Magazine features & articles.
I found out a few weeks ago that the car featured in 'performance imports' magazine when it was originally for sale from "Big Boyz Toyz" – here’s the article:
