Getrag 233
The V160 (233) gearbox is designed and built by Getrag Gmbh Germany and is an inline 6 speed manual transmission utilising a 3 section cast aluminium housing (clutch, intermediate & rear).

The gearbox itself is fully synchronised and features triple cone synchronisers in first and second, double cone synchronisers in third and fourth and single cone synchronisers in fifth, sixth and reverse.

All gears are helical and are constantly meshing.
